I’m very worried for my bb as she is only 22 weeks old and her CCC has 16 confirmed cases. Should I leave her at home before anything happen?

Wow! 16 seems like a big number to me even if it is a big centre. ...
For me I would take her off school for this week.

I'll keep her at home as she is so small.
Better play safe else u will be more tiring if she gets it.

This is always tricky, and we'd hesitated about it whenever kids fell sick or if got outbreak. if everytime they have the slightest bit of cough or cold then leave them home and take leave to look after them, will run of leave quickly...

but it's also true that if continue to let them go sch, could:

                - spread disease to other kids as they are too young to know what is 'safety distance'; and that could in turn cause suffering to the kids and inconvenience to the parents.
                - if really come into contact with sick kids or contaminated/infected toys, utensils, etc. and catches diseases like chickenpox, hfmd, then will be in for a tough time. extremely uncomfortable (sometimes dangerous) for kids, and painful for parents. Plus if you do not have extended help or support, will end up maybe having to take 1-2 wk leave to take care of them...
                - and if you have >1 kids at home, and if your infection control measures are not perfect, there is a chance that the other kid(s) might get it from the first, which will double the pain, suffering and inconvenience...

This is what I worried most! Luckily the number has dropped to 8 when I brought my bb home last evening. The drop according to CCC is becos 3 kids have recovered. There are no new cases on mon and tues so will monitor first.

Anyone knows MCYS will asked CCC to close for how long if the outbreak is out of control?

I dun think we can search on the record of the CCC.

I think u should call ur CCC to find out.
By right, the CCC will issue a notification letter on how many cases in their centre if ur kid is with them.
Normally they will have no outing/PE & they will perform thorough cleaning in the centre if it is serious.
