Is anyone know the PA online submission to get the PA letter for phase 2B open already for P1 2016 intake?
Log in to http://www.grassrootsconnect.org.sg to submit your P2B application.
Once approved, your CO will ask you to collect the letter. -
Thanks for the info

Your CO should send you a link for you to just click and proceed on from there. You didn't receive, or your chairperson didn't forward? -

Yes, you won't see this option if you didn't fulfil the length of service criteria

Anyone can enlighten me. Im currently a GRL for my RC. Planning to move to a new estate near sch in another GRC and getting a condo that has yet to TOP. What are my chances of membership transfer? Noting that it will be frm an RC to NC, and which the NC would not have established, as yet.
TIA. -

I remember I saw a reply in this thread that mentioned you need to start all over again in the NC as an observer. There is no 'carry forward' of membership from RC to NC. Moreover, the condo might not even have an NC in the first place.Anyone can enlighten me. Im currently a GRL for my RC. Hi,
This is my first post. I'm interested to choose this grassroots route to qualify for p2b for registration in 2018.
Understand that i will be assigned the RC where I reside in to volunteer my service- which should be Mountbatten smc.
However I'm interested in sch in Moulmein kallang GrC. What if 2 years down the road, I moved house to Moulmein kallang Grc..
QNS
1) can I still volunteer my service at Mountbatten smc and get the eligibility letter from Mountbatten smc stating I can apply for sch in MK GrC (since my new address resides in MK Grc)
2) do I need to transfer my membership to MK grc? If so, will they take into account my tenure as EM in Mountbatten Smc (meaning I do not have to start all over again as new EM ).
Thanks!
Hi hi,
I am in the exact opposite situation as you! Hahhaa...maybe we should exchange house! But it seems that the schools are listed on MOE based on planning area ie, both our GRC & SCM schools are under Geylang, wonder if we can apply under Phase 2B based on that...? Fat hope? -
The committee that reviews electoral boundaries was formed two months ago, a sign that the general election is round the corner.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced the formation of the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee on Monday, in response to questions in Parliament.
The forming of the committee, which redraws constituency boundaries ahead of a general election, is the first formal step towards calling a GE.
Leading up to the polls in 2006 and 2011, the committee had taken four months to do its work before issuing its report.
While there is no fixed date for the election to be called after the report is submitted, it has taken as short as one day and as long as one month and 26 days in the past.
Mr Lee told the House that he had asked the Committee in its review to consider the population shifts and housing developments since the last boundary delineation exercise.
He also asked them to consider having smaller group representation constituencies, so as to reduce the average size of such constituencies to below five members, and have at least 12 single member constituencies. There are currently 15 group representation constituencies and 12 single-seat constituencies.
-

Looks like next year the game plan will have to change with the choice of schools available in each GRC/SMC
