For Sci, DD is ok w Physic.

Not so sure abt Chem, but heard Bio under Mr De Souza was good.

One thing I find it cumbersome is the sch uniform. Can't the sch adopt culotte and PE shirt for 4 days and having the 1 day for pinafore and blouse for official assembly? For PE, still have to wear back blouse w pinafore. Confusing as well when odd and even weeks kick in.

Can take NUSH as a good example.
      Hi!
RGS actually has the change in uniform because it's very unhygienic to stay in the sweaty PE shirt for the whole day. Another reason is professionalism which is one of the school's core values. Anyways I agree that the odd and even week timetables are confusing, but this issue of whether it's possible to not change out of PE has been hotly debated for years but we're still no where close to any resolving of the issue, so I would suggest just try to get used to it! It'll become a habit before long ๐Ÿ™‚
A good way is to write odd and even week on calendar and memorise the days for PE ๐Ÿ˜„

plus one! Hygiene and being having pride to wear the pinafore. Many gals including my DDs no issue with it. Self-discipline to keep track of odd and even week.

The GPA for semester 1 had been released today. My DD got overall 3.5x.

Would like to seek opinion on whether she is above or below median.

Note that this one shows percentage, while the other list from blessedmum4 shows percentile. I find the percentile one more informative as it shows where the child stands in the cohort. Percentage only shows the conversion between marks and GPA, but doesn't indicate how many got each grade. Eg. the marking could be very strict and with hardly anyone getting over 80%, or more lenient and many getting over 80%.
