Two parents will share their experiences. Though primarily targeted at S1 parents, you can raise your queries about S4 during Q&A part. Need to confirm your attendance with HCI.

We don't get tested in Chinese. We get tested in Higher Chinese. We have no Chinese O Levels at sec 3, only HCL at sec 4.

The Parenting Talk on Thursday is mainly sharing by 2 parents on their parenting experiences as both their boys received the \"All Round Excellence\" Awards in Sec 4.


This award is given to the top 15 students in the Sec 4 cohort for their overall performance academically, leadership, CCA, CIP etc.

I don't think it will be the right platform to bring up Sec 4 queries.

You should make sure you attend all the Sec 4 Parent Teacher Meetings (PTM), and meet the subject teachers to find out how your boy is doing.

One critical meeting for Sec 4 parents I think is either in mid year or Sept PTM where they will brief parents on JC Subject combi.

Indeed... Understand also if the students average score more than B3 at sec 2, will have to go to 'O' level path and then haave to use their 'O' level result to gain admission to HCJC . Just as any other 'O'level people outside HCI.

Duno wat is RI criteria then?

Cos if really so, then what is IP all about?
Does other IP schools have the same practice?

Another example, in ACS(I), not all students go thro IB
if they don't make the cut.
I've also heard in HCI, those who don't meet the standard
for IP through train have to take O levels.
