Just to check from the experienced parents from CHS. Would first 2 weeks of Dec be safe for travelling? I am assuming teachers are off from work and there won’t be much need to go back to school for CCA or whatever. Any comments or advice?

Just write the in-charge a letter of excuse. They are pretty understanding on this

Anyone know CHS take in how many students for IP track via DSA? Seem like not much answer during the open house. :snooze:

They can take up to half of the intake, but actual numbers up to the school

Last year is 20% of 170. The other 2 girls school will add up the nymbers

2015 Year-1 / Sec-1 cohort :

5 IP classes (approx 30 per class)
4 O-Level classes (approx 40 per class)

Sports DSA (O-Level) - 15
Academics DSA (IP) - approx 30 (20% thereabout)

Senior parents, I heard from my boy that school will end by Oct this year. Is that true? I cannot imagine him rotting at home for whole of Nov/Dec. :shock:


Then if so, how many more \"exams\" do they have? 1 more or 2?
DS is in sec 1 this year. So, mummy here is also blur...
And is it the norm to have so little homework for sec 1? He is like forever in honeymoon stage. Majiam no need study and minimum work to do... :?
