      Hi Westmom and Happybird

As this is the thread for EPO and RJ, I have moved your questions and answered them in a separate thread, \"Probiotics\". Otherwise, the mods will :nunchuk: us for going :offtopic: here.

See u at the Probiotics thread

        schweppes:

The reason why I started on RJ 6 years ago was because I went to Australia for holiday and visited some bee farm. The people there recommended that RJ is good for skin and being vain (and because on holiday...) just bought it. And ever since then, I just continued taking them. There's no particular brand that I buy for RJ - sometimes I switch around. I think Blackmores RJ is ok but really no preference.
        Schweppes,

Can you pls tell me where do you get your Blackmores RJ from? I too use this brand for my vit C, E and folic acid pills.

I tried looking for it in several Guardian pharmacies but don't have lah.

What about the dosage. One brand I came across had both 600mg and 200mg?? How to decide what dose to take??

        MTIA šŸ˜„

          :peekaboo: Autumnbronze,

:imsorry: for delayed response. Have not been logging on to KSP lately as I'm :imdrowning: in work. :gloomy: Anywayz, happened to chance upon your post - must have heard you calling me...

Eh... I think the Blackmores RJ was bought in Australia. Currently, I use the Herb & Spice RJ (90 caps) from Vitakids. Sori, can't remember the exact price but I know that this particular brand is slightly expensive as the RJ is \"triple potency royal jelly, fortified with rosemary and sage, and raw and unprocessed\" (typing out what i read from the product label) šŸ˜‰

As for dosage, I usually follow what's the recommended dosage on label. Guess, if not sure, you can start with the smaller dosage first, and if you feel comfortable, gradually increase? Otherwise, just stick with low - afterall, if taking everyday, the positive effects will surely kick in.

But this particular Herb & Spice RJ's dosage recommends 1000mg (each cap is 500mg). Instead of taking 2 caps, I just take 1 cap a day - didn't think I need such a high dosage as I'm also taking EPO as well. For me, a lot of what I do goes by gut feel. I tend to trust my instincts.

I have also bought the Source Naturals RJ from Vitakids in the past too. That's slightly cheaper as not fortified with rosemary and sage, et al

I think most RJ brands from OZ, NZ and USA shd be good. Time to go shopping at Vitakids again?

Okie ... noted with thanks šŸ˜„

But one question though.... Wouldn't pure RJ be more exp rather than those fortified with Rosemary and sage?? And do you know what are their benefits??

I read from webs that eating Royal Jelly will cause fibroid grow faster as it contains 雌ęæ€ē“ , but not sure about EPO
