1)May I know when will the letter endorsed by SBF to be mailed to me?(as u know registration is starting).
2) or should I go over to SBF to collect the letter?
Thanks so much for the help. -
Hi all, we intend to send our son to ACS, just how the church membership works for phase 2b? Husband and I are both Christians for many years, but got no clue about the membership. Could any one kind tell me what I need to do to become a member of the church?
Many thanks -

Parents must transfer church membership to a Methodist Church (assuming parents are already baptized) , kids are baptized too
If you are not baptized, you can attend a Methodist church and choose your baptism in the church - which u will be a member after baptism
All transfer of church membership and baptism are required to attend class in the church -

You should check with the church for the dates as membership classes are not available all year round, but only on certain dates. Usually in a span of 1 month.xwindy:

now i got a little confused with this:
under (phase 2B) - For a child whose parent is a member endorsed by the church/clan directly connected with the primary school.
I am a Catholic, childβs mum. We are looking at Maris Stella (1st choice) - we are also within 1km from school.
This means, I will fall under phase 2B or phase 2C? How would I know if the school is connected to the primary school, for this instance is Maris Stella? -

For Maris Stella - You need to bring along your catholic baptism cert along during the registration under Phase 2B. -

Do you know where I can find on site to see what school is under what church etc? For eg. if I notice Maris Stella chances not very high, at least I can change my mind earlier.

What happen after the kid enter into the school, will you still be attending the services or participate in the church?MyPillow:

For what I know, they are screening through for applicants who wish to be part of the member in the church. There are criterias that needs to be fulfill, before you can even sign up as member, taking membership class.
I pray that you do not join the church, just for the sake of your children, but truly because of you, like the environment, cultures, services that the church is having.
Are you a Methodist? Find out more first. You need to be batipised into the Methodist community first.
I repeated, do not commit an action with motives. God knows exactly what we are thinking. -

If you are within 1km and register under Phase 2B, I would say your chance is 100% based on past years ... :rahrah:
To be 200% sure ... just call up the school to ask, the general office are pretty helpful, I have called them up many many times
