In phase 2C, If applicant is more than vacancy. The balloting will start for within 1 km n than 1 to 2km correct? Will those PV that can't get in earlier phase n also stay out of 2km fall inside this 2C balloting? No offen for PV but Jus wana know my chances of balloting.

Pv who can't go in phase 2b may choose to try in phase 2c but compete based on distance

Notice this year Sengkang Green is over registered by 200% for phase 2c. Anyone know why? And familiar with the pros and cons of the school?
North Visa pri also growing popularity… Any feedback? I am registering my kid next year.

Hi parents, need your opinions. We are registering next year. Thinking to apply to Nan Chiau under Phase 2c, as we (SC) live less than 1km from NCPS. However, seeing the balloting that happened every year, even less than 1km need to ballot. In an event if ballot not successful, only choice is to use phase 2cs in another school? If the other school past years no need to ballot, will there be a sure chance of getting into that 2nd school?

Wondering if should even think about balloting at Nan chiau? At least give it a try? Or should use the phase 2c on the other school?

How far are you from your backup school? If in Phase 2C the application rates to that backup school is low and the chance for your distance group to get in is high, you can go ahead and ballot in NCPS first.

In this case, maybe you should closely monitor those 2 schools, just in case your backup school is filled up in Phase 2C, leaving you scrambling for a 3rd school in Phase 2CS.

Hard to say, every year anchor green fill up during 2C, this year diff. Springdale usually lot of vacancies left, but this year diff. So is very hard to predict for next year. I am balloting for nan chiau this year. Am very worried

You received any form of notification regarding the ballot?

Hi galaxyraider, thanks for your reply. we r more than 2km away from backup school. The last 4 years(including this year) no balloting , even for SC more than 2 km. except one year PR need to ballot. But if ballot for nan chiau, at which point would we know that there's no chance and when is the best time should take action for second choice sch?

During application, u fill up a form, they will returned u a copy, indicate when is the balloting.

Me apply on second day, so sch know there will be balloting ba.

Think the reason is because it has a student care, new management team (Credentials of Principle/ Vice principle), if you want to increase chances of admitting ur kids in their P1 u got to become PV for this sch much more stable and easier but u gotta check with school for now in rgds the PV admission, just my 2cents
