what kind of experiments were the students asked to do, at the Science camp ?

can give an example ? TIA
I don't have the exact details except that the experiments were Physics, Biology and Chemistry related.

So how do we expose our 12-Yr old to such experiments? Sch science definitely don't cover these. Are there external vendors who conduct such classes?

My son who went for interview was put on waitlist....

from what I heard, the number of candidates on Waitlist is small, perhaps high chance to convert into CO, later on. Still, it is best to ask your son to concentrate on coming PSLE, Oral starting next week. All the very best to him šŸ™‚

            My DS got the CO.

Regardless of what is the result, I truly appreciate the support rendered by all of you.

            :thankyou:

More to come and learn from all of you!

Congratulations! to your DS.[/quote]Dear Amma, thanks! BTW, I heard that the chances of WL to get in is pretty high. Who knows, the two boys may ended up in same class and be buddy. :)

              Fully agree with phtthp!

BTW, is it true that with PSLE T score of more than 260 , the student will enjoy subsidiary on school fee for NUS High?

NUSH is very popular this year. Several of us, geppers, are on waitlist for DSA. We are rather disappointed. Congrats to those with CO.

not really a subsidy on the fee but scholarships which you can use to pay off part of the fee.

Quantum is S$2,400 p.a. which is automatically offset from the school fees, i.e. you only pay net.

Here is the link for more info on EESIS : http://www.moe.gov.sg/initiatives/edusa ... ips/eesis/

However, NUSHS has its own NUSH Scholarship too on top of EESIS.
