:goodpost: It's a great idea. The same happens to my hubby. After he sells off his US shares... all of them went sky high to the point of no return :stupid: . So i encouraged him to sell Citi hoping that it'll show the same trend  -

Paragon is the \"golden egg\" that is still in SPH's bag.. Maybe they should unlock that and bring in the money.

Yes you need to make some deposits first before you can trade. Funding is not as convenient as local brokers. Basically you need to do wiring. Some banks may have interbank transfer arrangement with them but have to check with them.
How do you make payment? Do you need to have some deposits before you can trade??? The commission is low but just wonder how it works.minnie2004:
Hi KSP,
It depends on how many shares you buy. For regular ordres, it's USD0.005 per share. You can find their fee schedule here: http://www.interactivebrokers.com.hk/en/p.php?f=commission
The last time I bought usd9000 worth of shares and they only charged me usd1! -
Talking abt shares trading, it was years back when I was a day trader
i would make my entries and exits within a day, with eyes hooked on every tick by tick of the live charts…….
imagine day time trading the local shares, sometimes Simsci and Nikkei futures trading too
and night time had to help hub to monitor US stock markets (esp if there are nasty news)
Years passed by, I began to abhor my kind of life, too stressful,
now, I manage not to touch the share market at all……
I am surprised that I could do it ……off course after some struggling to refrain fr it
totally out of the market while some of my acquaintances still hook on to it… as believed they are already addicted
maybe will only look at it when opportunity strikes if there is crises with sharp fall… -
