Just got dsa means what ? Applied ? Offer given ?Dear all parents,

If offer confirmed the usual minimum t score is the t score to be eligible for express stream -

:congrats: if he gotten a CO.Dear all parents,

Yes, he had the CO. Thanks monmon31 and pirated. Got your answer.

if CO it will be as long as grades allow you to enter express (ie 200 abv). For WL1 or WL2, i guess they will look at score ultimately, vacancies available and your choices during option.
DS and classmates got WL last year but was converted to CO upon collection of PSLE results. -

If 2 boys (WL) put HCI as 1st choice in their DSA option form, is their WL conversion dependent on ranking within the WL, or PSLE Tscore, or both?if CO it will be as long as grades allow you to enter express (ie 200 abv). Eg :
Child A on WL1, PSLE Tscore 255
Vs
Child B on WL2, PSLE Tscore 260 -

From what I understand, as long as your DC's T-score meets the minimum requirement for express stream, the one on WL1 will have a higher priority than WL2 in getting converted to CO when there is a vacancy. As such, Tscore is not taken into consideration. Whether a WL gets converted to CO depends on how high up is your DC ranked in the WL and if he chooses HCI as his first choice. -

It will be interesting to know how they actually rank DC in WL1. :?

Their ranking is never disclosed to us, only the school have it in their system. Therefore the positioning of the ranking goes in to fill up CO accordingly. I believe the school did hold talks with CO, WL1 and WL2 parents and explain, me attended last year.
For last yr, I had known kids who are on WL2, 1 was converted to CO on PSLE results day, 1 was not. However his TScore qualifies him for in the cut-off marks for HCI S1 Posting. Thus he had entered HCI successfully, better still, not tied by DSA's restriction
