People would also touch or \"pinch\" their rosy chubby cheeks.. I am like
if only they are not chubby. I don't appreciate it at all.
Mine too! Both my kids are big and chubby since baby (3.45 and 3.97 kg at birth). So, imagine the number of \"touches\" and \"pinches\" incidents I have. Luckily, my girl has slimmed down. Otherwise, think I'll go  if anybody touches her. -

Why u want to stop??? its good to taller :?[/quote]This is very normal. At this stage, they are more likely to grow upward than sideway. Perhaps, get him to take rice during recess too? My niece did that last year when she was in P1 and she really ballooned. But come P2, she slimmed down again b'cos of climbing stairs.

tall got its share of problems
- cannot go up upper deck of double decker bus
- cannot stand straight in sbs bus
- sleep with legs sticking out of bed
- must tailor pants as those sold on racks are too short else too wide
- GF complain neck pain
- can't sit properly
- always must sit in the back
- can't drive or sit in small car
- etc etc -

I agree with you, DS is eating well (though can be fussy at times) but is otherwise healthy. He swims and plays badminton and & his badminton coach keeps asking him to put on more weight, otherwise got no 'power' in his strokes :?Personally I will not be very concerned if my kids are on the skinny side so long as they are eating well and healthy. Likewise, a little chubbiness on my kids will not bother be much either but I will be concern if they are tipping the scales all the time
I was a skinny kid and I was put on the school milk programme and that nutrition drink thing that was really nasty tasting. Added to that, my parents put be on some vitamins to increase my appetite. And when puberty hit, I started putting on weight. -
