Travel: Malaysia - Sunway lagoon

I am reviving this thread.
Has anyone gone to Sunway Lagoon recently?
Is it better to take a flt/taxi to Sunway or go via coach?
What is there to do apart from going to the theme park n shopping at the mall?
Pls share.
Thanks. -

We were there just before National Day. We drove there. If you are not driving, I suppose taking a coach would be more direct.
Nothing much to do except the theme park and shopping. Maybe can consider trying the ice skating if you are keen.
As we stayed at Sunway Pyramid, it was quite convenient. If you want to stay at a higher class hotel, you can consider the Sunway Resort Hotel and SPA. -
Heelo parents

It will be the sch hols soon!
May i ask those who've been to Sunway, did you have enough time to visit all 5 parks in 1 day?
A standard Sunway package incl 1 day pass to the 5 parks. I wonder how can we conquer so many rides/attractions in a day, considering its opening hrs, 10am - 6pm?
Can any experienced mummies/daddies share your day-out plan there?
Also, anyone knows when is Malaysia school holidays?
:thankyou: -
Hey folks :boogie:

I think First Coach travels from SG to Sunway.
If it’s just a short trip, Sunway is like a little township of its own. I haven’t been in over a decade but from what I can recall, I think the kids will love the theme park (they have a wet & dry one), extreme park, petting zoo, etc. A huge shopping mall is linked to the theme park, alongside the hotel. Lots of eateries and good shopping to be done in the mall.
Of course if staying for longer, as KL is not to well-equipped with public transportation and taxi drivers aren’t always honest (I grew up in KL), driving up will be the best and less hassle.
