Wow, which school is this ? I sense the urgency from the school urging parents to contact so-and-so.

Yes, you're right. I wonder what's the take up rate for 2A.

            Correct.

Ms Doris Tan is the Secretariat of CH Alumni.

They are issuing out certificates for those who pay $$ to join Alumni to get to Phase 2A1.

So Jor, you CH old boys?

If you go for Phase 2A2 no need cert, you need to bring your Report Book will do and of course your IC as proof the owner of the report book is you.

Would say Phase 2A1 or 2A2 should both be ok lah.

My DS got in Phase 2A2. I remember 7 years ago, he is number 30+.

speaking of 2A2, is the only document that is recognized the report book/card? I am a St Nicks old girl (Sec) and am told that I can apply for my girl to P1 under phase 2A2. If so, can I use my GCE ā€˜O’ Levels cert instead? the school name is stated on the cert anyway.

Sorry if I have posted wrongly here and please direct me to the right thread if so. thanks.

                hi ImMeeMee

your girl is not eligible for Phase 2A2 for St Nicks, if you are only ex-student of secondary school and not primary school.

Dear Kiasu Parents Forumers / Kiasu Chief,

My Daughter will be registering for P1 this year for 2011. Hope to hear about some opinions from some experienced parents/admin here:

                    1) When do we get notified by MOE that Phase 2B had commenced? My Presbyterian Church had already submitted my application to Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School last year November 2009. Pei Hwa had acknowledged receipt. Do we expect a call from the school? Or do we still need to personally go to the school for the application?

                    2) I stay slightly out of 2km from the vicinity of Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary. I am staying at Shelford Road which is within 1km vicinity of Nanyang Primary and Raffles Girls Primary School. Is it advisable that i withdraw my application from Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary at Phase 2B (should I get the school) and register for Nanyang Primary School at Phase 2C? (As my wife and I do prefer Nanyang due to affliation to Nanyang Girls High). I had read from some of the thread that we could "monitor" the situation and if Nanyang does not have balloting for this year, I can withdraw from Pei Hwa and apply for Nanyang. How do I do this and What is the time frame to do this?

Hope some one can share some light on this.

Thank you so much in advance.

I think there is this thing called full schools, and this is one of those, where there is affiliation between the primary and secondary schools at P1 registration.

Wrote to the school last year and they verified so. Unless there are changes in the rules?
