Yes. Whether we do get another ninja turtle or a princess, it will impact our other 2 kids. The other day, i saw a family with 3 kids. The elder 2 boys are around the same age gap as my boys (i think, from their size and mannerism). The younger boy is pretty active (like my ds2). And their youngest is a princess. Obviously daddies love their princesses and hence the protectiveness. The middle child isn't matured enough to control rough play and I can see him being told off a couple of times by both the parents and the elder bro. Guess that's part of being a middle child too. The parents may be right to control the little boy's behaviour, but hopefully the little boy won't think that it is wholly due to the little sister.

isn't this applies to all scenario ..let it be a boy or birl, attention & protectiveness will always go the the youngest 😉

Ya lo, that day just chat with a parent, she did mention that if one family have 3 children, the middle one will be get lesser concern by the parents, as mother will prefer the younger one and the father might prefer the elder one. So the poor one is in the middle.

Nowadays children very clever, they also scare that their "position" will be affected… when they need your concern, they will do a lot of funny things to attract your attention. Then we will be headache liao, so better think twice twice.
