Used to be able to go to the MOE website's List of School's Directory and select Full school option (now they call it Mixed Level??). There's only 5 schools that fall into this category: MGS, SCGS, SNGS, CHS, MSHS. For full schools, I think they have only 1 principal presiding over both sec and pri schools.
What's the definition of a full school? Can you give examples of full schools? Sounds like ACS is not considered a full school, from your previous reply.
These pri schools enjoy longer year-end holidays - school term ends with the sec school (usually abt 2-3 weeks earlier than the other pri schools). -

Just to clarify, so does it means that husband is from ACS (sec) and ACS JC can apply either Primary or Junior?
The hubby must be from ACS Pri to be able to apply for ACS Pri.
The same goes for Junior. -

Just wondering. Assuming the school was not previously 'full-school' and only converted in 2000, how does it affect pre-2000 ex-students who did not attend MGPS. -

No, it's beter than that. It falls under phase 2A.
2A1 if you are an alumni member, 2A2 otherwise.
Phase 2B is for church/clan affiliates, grassroot leaders and pvs. -

If daddy is not from the pri school, you are only eligible for phase 2C even if daddy is a member of the OBA (Old boys association). I’ve just verified that with the school. -

PRIMARY ONE REGISTRATION FOR CHILDREN OF OBA MEMBERS
For old boys with sons born in 2004 and your son is due to start Primary one in 2011, the registration exercise will be held in July 2010.
The registration system favors parent alumni who are members of the ACSOBA not later than 30 Jun 2009. Please ensure this is the case.
PRIMARY ONE REGISTRATION FOR BOYS BORN IN 2004 :This is an announcement for old boys with sons born in 2004. Your son is due to start primary one in 2011 and the registration exercise will be held in July 2010.
Strict Deadline The exercise will be carried out in phases with the first phase, Phase I for children with siblings in the school of choice. The next phase after that is Phase 2A1 for children with a parent who is a former student of the school and who has joined the alumni association as a member not later than 30 Jun 2009. Children with a parent who studied in the school of choice but is not a member of the alumni association will only be registered in Phase 2A2.
How to apply for ACSOBA membership Old boys are therefore reminded to apply for membership of the ACSOBA before 30 Jun 2009 if they intend to benefit from the priority given to OBA members in Phase 2A1.
To apply just download the application form and send the completed form together with a cheque for the membership fee to the ACS OBA Secretariat. Easier ACSOBA application Applying for membership is much easier now as the application no longer needs to be supported by a proposer and seconder. -

I have a 2.5 yo son who should be going to ACSJ following his father's footpath. Did not know that the old boy must join OBA for 2 years in order to be in top priority. Got a shock after reading this and quickly took action to apply for OBA. Your weblink greatly helped too!
Although my DS is still young but I can already feel that the heat is ON! :rant:
