Hi, anyone can recommend printers who will help us print those flashcards? Bought the blank cards from GDbaby size same as the Maths program but my home printer cannot take that size. Do let me know if you know of any… thanks!

I still think it may be more worthwhile to print it on normal paper and then laminate them. I bought a lamination machine (about $30 or so from Popular Bookstore/Giant/Carrefour) when my son was Pri 1 and it was one of my best investments. Great for laminating the spelling lists and often studied papers. Each laminating pouch costs about 15 cents and you can simply fold 2 flashcards into 1 A4 laminating pouch, laminate them, and then cut them easily into 2. Voila!

great idea… I saw the laminating machine which costs like SGD100over so I drop the idea… Actually i bought the 288 gsm A4 paper already and did my own flashcards (both sided half of A4), it should work with or without the lamination for 288gsm…let me try…thanks!

No lah, I saw some at Giant supermart for like $30... but that was some months ago during a promotion. I don't think the A4 ones cost above $50. -
I tried printing those flash card on the Canon Pixma and Epson CX series printer, quality is not as good as printing on paper, but doable. I am too lazy to print on paper and laminate or cut the paper and paste it on those flash card.

I use the traditional method. Print on normal paper and paste them on top of thicker paper.
Personally, I feel laminating make the cards a bit too thick for flashing fast. just my preference. -
For flashing fast, I bough those finger glove, those tiny glove that cover individual finger. It provides enough friction to flash the card quickly.

You know... a software-based flash card system which allows you to put the kid in front of the monitor and with adjustable flashing speed may not be such a bad idea afterall

I use those too but still quite slow leh. especially if I need to flip the cards. A5 ones still okay. A4 cards I definetly take longer.
Chief, if I am not wrong the softares don’t go less than 1 sec per card… -

But... but... movies go at 25 frames per second, which means each frame takes 1/25 second. Maybe we should make movies of flash cards and simply play them on TV. No need for computers. New product idea!
