FYI
besides the award received by pupils on Speech day / or Prize giving award day in the last week of Term 4 (before year end school holiday begin), \"MOE Edusave\" award is another type of award, which Rgps students can also receive.
There are several, different type of award by MOE, according to here :
http://www.moe.gov.sg/initiatives/edusave/awards/
However, do note that
\"MOE Edusave\" is strictly for Sg citizenship pupils, only.
This means that even if a Rgps PR child whose Total aggregate if happen to fall within either Top 10 %, or fall within Top 25 %, of the entire cohort level the child is in :
a PR child is not eligible for any \"MOE Edusave\" award.
\"MOE Edusave\" award is a privilege, extend strictly to Pupils holding Sg citizenship.
==============================================
Note
For (P2 to P6) :
within each class of students -
besides the \"Rgps girl\" award (per class), there is another award called \"Good progress\" award.
This special award is given to Rgps students, who had demonstrated -
- significant improvement achieved academically, from previous year's results to current year's results,
(Eg : a big improvement made in End of P1 to P2, or
from End of P2 to P3, or from End of P3 to P4, or from End of P4 to P5,
or from End of P5 to P6 SA1 results)
Or
- significant improvement made in current year's results,
from SA1 to SA2.
P1 not offered this award, yet.
(since P1 is the lowest level, since admission: no prior year to compare against)
\"Good progress\" award :
start from P2 onwards.
It is recommended by Rgps school Form Teacher, after discussion with the class' Respective subject Teachers, approved by Principal. -

I just got the name tags from Bibibaba. The instruction only show where the tags should go on the dresses, does it mean no need to sew it onto the PE shirt? TIA!
Ya. It's only for pinafore. PE shirt no need tags
Thank you, dardar63!
hi dardar63 & zephyrfei,

:thankyou: -
Hi wfaith, I collected for the tag for my gal and a friend’s gal, they have different house color. The background and the letters have same color.

Hello all kiasuparents,
Just like a number of anxious parents there, my girl will be starting P1 in school year 2016 (2 wks or so to be exact from now) and I have yet heard the final word from school bus operators in terms of route/pickup times etc. But from what has been tossed around, I have been hearing that the school buses aim to reach school at 6.40am or possibly even as early as 6.30am (which is when gate opens as far as I know). Is that right? That doesn’t sound too appealing given that students are not required to be in school until 7.20am or so?
We live within the 2km zone from the RGPS (hillcrest site) - a direct non stop drive from our home along sixth avenue to school is usually no longer than a 10-15 min. commute without your usual peak hour traffic. We have been warned that the pickup time by the buses be no later than 6-6.10am to avoid the congestion - is that plausible? Just thinking out loud given that we’re new to all these.
Appreciate all your inputs.
Thanks -

Hi
My DD is also P1 in 2016. Understand that name tags on PE tshirts are not necessary but I didn’t read this page earlier. My tailor had actually sewn on the name tags on my DD PE tshirts too. But it’s sewn on top of the school logo (for pinafore it’s sewn below based on the given measurements and position by Bibi & Baba).
Is this ok? Or do I need to remove the name tags?
For those who sew on the name tags on PE tshirts, may I know where’s the position? Thanks much! -
Dear 2015 Rgps P6 students (born 2003),
