Does nush accept students through psle results and if yes, how to apply? (I know application over, just asking)

Apply online via the same link as phase 1 DSA.

My personal opinion, the child must be :imdrowning: because a low CAP is usually because of languages or humanities and should not be Math and Sciences. ๐Ÿ˜“

NUS High core curriculum subjects are (Maths & three Sciences) and languages like English / Chinese, which humanities subject(s) are covered / taught in Year 1 to Year 4 syllabus, excluding 3rd language ?

Year 1 - Integrated Humanities which include history, Year 2 Music or Art, Geography, Year 3, Geography or Economics, Year 4 Economics, etc.

              Y1 - Integrated Humanities
Y2 - Integrated Humanities + choose 2 from geography, music, art
              Y3 - choose 1 from econs,history,geog,music,art,literature
              Y4 - what you chose in y3

For 3rd language ie Japanese, can my son opt to study at NUS high and pay $100/mth instead of commute to Bishan or Newton (MOELC) on year 1?

This year, the EESIS cut off above 260. Those scored T260 did not get the offer in the Eligibility letter. Any idea if still have chance?

This year's T-Score is surprisingly higher compared to past 3 years and EESIS cut off is higher at 262. But not to worry, MOE has other scholarships that you may get or try in secondary and JC level as per MOE website :

                        http://www.moe.gov.sg/initiatives/edusave/

Some of which EESIS recipients are not eligible. There are also many other scholarships that are available, e.g. A-Star, YDSP, DSTA, SPF, etc. ๐Ÿ˜„
