                  Thanks Sun_2010, thanks dagong99.

For 3rd language ie Japanese, can my son opt to study at NUS high and pay $100/mth instead of commute to Bishan or Newton (MOELC) on year 1?

This year, the EESIS cut off above 260. Those scored T260 did not get the offer in the Eligibility letter. Any idea if still have chance?

This year's T-Score is surprisingly higher compared to past 3 years and EESIS cut off is higher at 262. But not to worry, MOE has other scholarships that you may get or try in secondary and JC level as per MOE website :

                  http://www.moe.gov.sg/initiatives/edusave/

Some of which EESIS recipients are not eligible. There are also many other scholarships that are available, e.g. A-Star, YDSP, DSTA, SPF, etc. πŸ˜„

                    Hi

Just wonder will there be a transport vendor tomorrow for signing up?

I recalled I read in the past forum, NUS High did provide one way commute but anyone know when can we register?

Hmm...3.5 is a B. Most get min B+ while A- and A are more common.

Not to depress anyone but for Year 1, a B is quite \"dangerous\" as the syllabus will get harder and harder as the years go by. πŸ˜“

what if for Year 1 :
child get B for Maths, B for Physics, A for Chem, B for Bio -
                      risky ?

do NUS High \"kick out\" any student, before ?

Not that I know of. πŸ˜‰[/quote]B is 3.5 CAP. So far I know there are students who are around 3.0 (B-) CAP and they are still promoted to the next year. Though, I understand they attend remedial classes for subjects they are weak in. The minimum CAP for year 1 to get promoted to year 2 is 2.5 CAP. You can download a pdf on this at

                      http://www.nushigh.edu.sg/qql/slot/u186 ... .01.02.pdf

Refer to the last 2 pages.

what I heard is that NUS High does not kick students, but some students had decided to transfer to another school for various reasons.
