The girls can always go to the office and use the phone there to call their parents or caregivers.

The girls can always go to the office and use the phone there to call their parents or caregivers.

During the orientation, we were told that use of the phones in the ofiice is for emergencies only. Parents can get their DDS phone cards to use the pay phones. I did not see any pay phones during the orientation so I can only presume they do exist.

            hi,

students can go General Office (GO) to make phone call to parents / caregiver, for emergency situation.

            if non-emergency :
can use the public phone (slot in 10 cents) during recess, to call parents.

if student happen to wet their pinafore or soil their clothes (eg : accidentally spill food onto pinafore clumsily during recess time), can go GO to borrow a pinafore to wear, then return to GO after washing / ironing the pinafore at home.
GO keep clean set of uniform (both white blouse & pinafore) of different size & length, to let students use during unexpected, unforeseen circumstances.

if student forget to bring $ for recess, can borrow $2 from Form Tr / Co-Form Tr, then return $ to Tr next day.
            (do not borrow from classmates)

if student forget to bring $ for recess, yet do not wish to borrow $ from Form Tr :
can go pancake room to look for Mrs Huang, tell her that you are hungry, she will cook some pancake on the spot, for your girl to eat.

alternately, parents can put extra $2 pocket money into pupil’s school bag compartment, for emergency use.
But remind pupil not to use emergency $, to buy unwanted stationery from school book shop like eraser, pencil, etc.

The student care was mentioned to parents in 2015. It's in the planning stage. But it's going to be quite small. So not sure how they will process the application.
Principal said this entire year 2016 :
is to settle & iron out all isssue related to single-session, that may arise.
No time to look into student care centre (maximum : take in 50 students).

              next year 2017 :
may start to consider / explore student care centre feasibility

We were quoted $230 for two way from Woodlands, pickup at 5.25am.

If my gal was older I would have asked her to take the MRT so she can get more sleep.
my friend's daughter (P2 2016) staying in Tampines : also charged $ 230 school bus (two way), plus Top up another $ 70 to fetch her home, after Cca end on Tuesday.

school bus fetch her daily (Tampines), 5.40 am

anyone staying in Pasir Ris ?
is school bus charges to Pasir Ris : $ 230 or $250, per month (2 way) ?

During P1 we had a change of math teacher.

I know form teacher definitely not the same cos I heard she's one of the P1 form this year. But we haven't heard from our teacher as yet. So guess must wait for tomorrow to know.
