Yup, small and 4 classes of about 30 girls in each class.
MGS will not have the IP cohort size of 350. I think it may only be a few classes. -
RE: 2021 PSLE Discussions and Strategies (Children born in 2009)
Would the following school choices be too risky for an AL7? Any advice will be very much appreciated.
We are in the southwest, DD prefers IP over IB, weโre not considering SAP schools, and DDโs more STEM inclined. We are unsure whether to remove #1, and to switch #2 with #3 (because of negative reviews abt rundown infra and facilities, and teachers). #4-6 are ranked based on the score of the 1st girl who got in last year rather than the COP. TQ!
1. RGS (4-6)
2. NJC (5-7)
3. SCGS IP (4-8)
4. SCGS O (5-9)
5. Crescent O (6-11)
6. MGS O (6-8) -

Unlikely if...
72*AL4 inputs from one IP address
25*AL4 inputs from another IP address
27*AL6 inputs from the 3rd IP address

Cld it because they are doing it on behalf of other parents or they are parents of multiple kids?

At the end of the day, it is not about the parents but the child. Where would she like to be? Both NUSH and RGS are very good schools. NUSH has alumni who went on to read law and other non-S&T disciplines at top universities overseas, and locally. Congrats on securing a spot via SIE at NUSH!
As for me, I would prefer RGS. The path of NUSH, is towards science engineering. Example, If your child wanted to be a lawyer... NUSH is not your choice. After all it depends on what your child's dream is. If not dreams decided yet, RGS is still an open option.Squats\" post_id=\"2049081\" time=\"1638016359\" user_id=\"151731:
Hi, I hv one urgent query pls. My child scored AL4 in psle and also got confirmed offer from NUSH today through SIE. We are at foreigner status, shall we wait for the S1 posting outcome( RGS is option 1 in S1 posting) or shall go with NUSH. Which should be the better choice. Thank you๐

RE: Raffles Girls' Primary
EyDr:
Yay 1st day of skool for my dd!!.left jurong east at 6.30am and reached skool at 6.44am(we used the stopwatch to time the trip) but when we left the skool via back gate, we saw a long q going into hillcrest..a few mins made the difference between smooth and congestion..so anyone wanting to drive pls be early to avoid the long wait..btw any parents with dd in p1E?
Hello EyDr, my DD in 1E. Which route did you take from JE today? 14min is very quick. -
RE: Raffles Girls' Primary
Traffic was bearable today. DD was dropped off just before 7am. I saw that there were older girls to bring the P1s to their classrooms, which was great. It took a fair bit of time to get out of hillcrest tho...:)
