No way at my end because I did not ask for email or any other personal information from participants. Only some tech info captured by the system:
      IP address\t116.15.127.196
      Platform: Iphone
      City: Queenstown Estate

I do not have the rights to ban this person's KSP account and we don't even know if this person is a member here. The decision lies with ChiefKS.

Is there any way to remove that guy's input to the poll? If not we will just minus the guy's inputs from the chart. BTW, we need to set a deadline for people to stop their inputs. Give it 1 more day?

I will close the poll after tomorrow. Will try to clean up after that and provide the final results.

        Hello Parents,

My DS scored AL7(D), and he is going for Catholic High OP (6M to 9M). But we're worried he may not get in as the vacancies for non affiliated is only 20% (which is balance 30 out of 150 places, assuming 80% full take up rate by affiliated students). May I know if anyone can advise if CHS usually max out their 80% of affiliated intake in previous years?

As we're uncertain if he can get into his 1st choice, we intend to put Nan Chiau High (4M to 11M) as 2nd choice. Based on my understanding from the posts in this forum, can I say since the S1 posting is by merit, he will be safely posted into NCHS despite being 2nd choice?

        Thanks in advance!

CHS never maxed out 80% of affiliated intake, at least not for the past few years.

Hi, I hv one urgent query pls. My child scored AL4 in psle and also got confirmed offer from NUSH today through SIE. We are at foreigner status, shall we wait for the S1 posting outcome( RGS is option 1 in S1 posting) or shall go with NUSH. Which should be the better choice. Thank you🙏
As for me, I would prefer RGS. The path of NUSH, is towards science engineering. Example, If your child wanted to be a lawyer... NUSH is not your choice. After all it depends on what your child's dream is. If not dreams decided yet, RGS is still an open option.

At the end of the day, it is not about the parents but the child. Where would she like to be? Both NUSH and RGS are very good schools. NUSH has alumni who went on to read law and other non-S&T disciplines at top universities overseas, and locally. Congrats on securing a spot via SIE at NUSH!

Nus high is a specialised school and the students learn computing, science and maths at a more advanced level if I guess correctly…See what your child like and discuss with her…End of the day, we as parents are not the one studying inside the school…See what the passion n interest and dream the child like…For AL4, that is the best possible AL score…Can enter practically any school u want .

                  Hi.

My DS has scored AL15(M), we stay at bidadari(near woodleight mrt ), i Need some advise for the selection of school.
                  1. Xinmin sec ( AL 14)
                  2. Geylang Methodist sec ( AL 15)
                  3. Holy innocent sec ( AL 15)
                  4. Bowen sec ( AL 16)
                  5. Ang mo kio sec (AL 16)
                  6 St. Gabriel sec ( AL 17)

Geylang & Holy is affiliated school , so the chances slim? Should i give up Xinmin to move them to 1st choice? Is safe net for AL17 as 6th choice? Or i should choose AL 18 for #6 ?
Hopefully someone can give me advise.

                  Thank you .

One more important factor to consider:
after 6 yrs of IP program, there is no A level exam in NUSH, as they will be awarded Diploma straight away for application for university( both overseas and locally). While for other IP schools like RGS, A level result will be used for university application

Stay in west and kid got a AL6(M). Original plan for RVHS (nearset SAP IP) but would like to try out HCI (but kind of far).
Came out with below list and wonder if RVHS (as 2nd choice) is a sure safe catch if did not get HCI?

                        1) HCI
                        2) RVHS
                        3) RI
                        4) NJC
                        5) Nanhua
                        6) Swiss Cottage
RI and NJC will not have the chance to consider your application because you have indicated RVHS AL9 (D) as second choice. AL6(M) getting into RVHS is a certainty.

If I am in your position, I would place 1) RI. 2) HCI 3) NJC, 4) RVHS

If you are living in the west why not also consider ACS(I) IB program as well?
