It has been a while so I can't really remember the price range. It should be from just below $200 to as much as $400+.

We’re using Aprica, which allows several stages of adjustments to the height of the backrest, the width of the head rest, the width of the shoulder side-panels, and eventually detach the entire back piece leaving the booster seat. It caters to child beyond 4 years old. My son is coming 5 yrs old, 19kg, ~1.2m.

Apricas are expensive. Cannot recall the exact price, but shld be well over $400

              thanks tankee and eagle-ladybird!

wow, another $400! me and dh checked out toys'r' us tdy. they are selling graco for just below $200 to 200 plus. difference is in the material of the seat. the more exp, the more comfy it feels. didn't know aprica is so high-end cos their strollers didn't look so expensive! haha...maybe have to go back to baby kingdom to take a look n compare the different brands and variety. but i like the fact that aprica can adjust the height and all πŸ™‚

                  Hi

i hope my reply is not too late....i recommend Sunshine Kids RADIAN car seats.

It is slim (i can put 3 car seats across my MPV's 2nd row!) and it can restraint kids up to 65lbs (approx 30kg) in a forward facing position.

For average sized children to be 30kg would be approx 9-10years old?

Anyway, its also a 5-point harness.

                  get the details here:

                  http://www.amazon.com/Sunshine-Kids-Radian-Seat-Champagne/dp/B000EE3HB6

this car seat is also available in singapore at paragon 5th floor, one of those kiddy shops. But it retails for S$700+.
