use onemap it will clear show if you are in the 1km radius or not.
onemap is the official \"measurement\" the school will use.

With each cohort shrinking year after year, i wonder if there will be any primary schools with a ‘‘too small’’ intake such that they cannot open classes - as in the case of this year for several secondary schools.

did you check with onemap to see the list of school within 1km and 1km to 2km. moe based on that as a reference and not on our own calculation

I doubt so, remaining space for Phase 3 foreigners. .. where is it always not enough for all the foreigners ... so many of them end up no school to go.

My girl was born in 2010 and will be doing P1 reg 2016. My new address will be at Sengkang. I'm looking at Rivervale Pri ,Compassvale Pri , Mee Toh as within 1km .... any recommendation any other schools in SK and how was registration last year? Will there be balloting under Phase 2C?

You are guaranteed to face balloting < 1km for Rivervale Pri and Mee Toh (which is under Punggol). If you are lucky, you may be spared the ballot for Compassvale Pri < 1km (have to monitor closely to see how the wind blows).

I think registration is usually in Jul-Aug period. The dates depend on the phase you're looking at. Last year's Phase 2B was on 20-22 July 2015, while Phase 2C was on 30-31 July 2015. This year should be around the same period, plus minus 2-3 days.
