Mommykt:
Impossible to tell unless we know what's the school.
If I apply for PV, do I still have a chance if the school is within <2km?
I don't have any school near my place ....stressful.
Some schools strictly < 1km while others don't even accept PV anymore. -

Me reporting in for 2019 P1 intake too! Although it's a year for dragon babies, luckily mine is #2, so she's going in via phase 1 .

Similar here.

Reporting in too! My #1 girl is a dragon baby while my #2 boy is a 2015 baby. Now waiting for the pv application to start. Can feel the stress building up alreadyโฆ

Which school you aiming for? Some schools already start looking for PVs. -
I am aiming for either northland or chongfu. northland < 1km, Chongfu < 2km
I am looking to do pv for either one or both the schools. Still thinking whether to do both cos it will be very time-consuming! :yikes:sembgal:

I feel that you should aim for Northland because it is less than 1km from your house. Dragon year babies face stiff competition during the 1km balloting stage.I am aiming for either northland or chongfu. northland < 1km, Chongfu < 2km

my 1st one also dragon baby. Iโm considering either Sembawang Primary school or canberra primary school. both are within 1km. Difference is 5-mins walk to sembawang primary school and 5mins walk to bus stop to take 1 direct bus which stop right in front of canberra school.
Any good advice? if within 1km, do i still need to go for PV? -

Canberra - ballot within 1km for BOTH Phase 2B and 2C.my 1st one also dragon baby. I'm considering either Sembawang Primary school or canberra primary school. both are within 1km. Sembawang - no ballot required for Phase 2B and Phase 2C. It doesn't look very popular for Phase 2Cs either.
No idea what makes Canberra so popular but if you are fine with either school, go for Sembawang. If you want to be extra safe, PV at Sembawang.
Alternatively, you can PV at Canberra and try your luck at Phase 2B. Failing which, try again at Phase 2C or move on to Sembawang. In a dragon year, this could be a risky strategy though.
