I need some advise here. Hubby came from st.hildas primary school. Currently staying with in laws at woodlands. Any recommendation for woodlands school? What do u all think about the child traveling from woodlands to tampines daily.

Probably may not even have any school bus to fetch kids, from Woodlands to St Hilda (east). Call up school to check first.

My new home TOP is end 2016, <1km to Bukit Panjang primary school. My elder boy is in p3 Jurong area, younger boy will be p1 in 2017. I need to transfer the elder one and also register the younger one.


Which one should go first?

And what’s a certified true copy of sales purchase document, I have a copy, but who certify it?

Which one should go first?
There's no first or second. Both application are independent of one another.

You can apply for a transfer of the elder one to start in 2017. There's probably a wait list so it's not a guarantee.
The younger one will go thru thto normal application process this year.

The poor child will spend long hours on the road for 6 years.
Besides, there is no guarantee the child can get it as it is more than 2km.

most likely no school bus from the east, to Woodlands
even if got school bus, per trip at least mimimum 1 hour to 1.5 hours long, travelling time. Your poor kid cannot take it, so tiring !
What about those days for Cca, remedial ?

either shift nearer to St Hilda primary (east), or pick another school in Woodlands

I need some advise on primary one registration for 2017. My son is a foreigner holding a long term visit pass one year validity . He is due for P1 registration intake 2017. His DOB 13/10/2010

Currently he is studying at PAP K2. I,m renting flat at blk 641, rowell road, s200641.

I'm planning fo Stamford Primary school for phase 3. Is it still first come first serve for phase-3?

Any suggestion, because lots of my friends cant get local school. MOE refer them to International School. Which were too expensive and not suitable for me.

Put yourself in the position of your child. Can you take the travelling and time spent on the school bus to and fro Woodlands and Tampines? My advice is enrol in a nearby school. The real challenge comes when your child is in P3 to P6. More homework, longer time in school due to extra lessons or CCA. Why not focus on a nearby school and just let your child blossom in the school. It will be a bonus if your child can enter the P3 (HA) class.

My DD is registering this year for next year’s P1. We are deliberating between Radin Mas Primary and Tao Nan. We live within 1km of RMPS, but one of us is an alumni of TNS. We are keen to get into RMPS because of proximity, but the balloting history of RMPS is really not in our favour.

You should have been kiasu in 2015, not 2017. It is too late now to try to get into RMPS via PV. So you can only try in Phase 2C.
