The condition of the toilets is really bad. Really hope the school will do something soon.

It is useless to educate the girls to keep the toilets clean when the flush cannot even work!

Looks like I am not the only one complaining about the toilets.

I was told the toilets are now renovated but I heard that they are still not sufficiently maintained to a decent level. Previously I had a shock of my life to step into the schools' toilets. I asked my gal and she told me that's why she doesn't dare to drink too much water. The condition isn't as decent as public coffee shops 😞

Also, the girls said some of the staircases are pretty dark around 4pm on their cca days. There are still some renovation work carried out in the school if I am not wrong. Some male workers are walking around.

Yes, you are right : bad toilet condition.

Once, my daughter went to the toilet, was shocked to see a puddle of smelly, messy \"pooh-pooh\", on the floor of the toilet cubicle. Whoever did that onto the floor (not inside the toilet bowl), so disgusting
Maybe the child did not have enough time to use the toilet bowl due to some situations, etc. Poor girl. We thought the maintenance of the toilets are much improved after the renovation this year. But my gal told me her friends couldn't flush .....and the toilets are still unbearable

We were near the main school gate and saw the girls walking on the road between the big school buses to board them. Especially those big buses near to the main school gate. A few of them got a shock when the bus suddenly moved a bit. This I thought is very hazardous. Those girls using the bridge to cross to the other side of their buses can walk safely on the pavement at least. There are many buses to send the girls home but it seems dangerous when We did not see any adults helping them to check blind spots on the road in this situation. So parents, please remind girls to be careful if they do not have a choice to use pavement all the way to board their buses.

Since there are male workers around, I suggest parents should advice their kids not to move around alone in quiet dark areas in and outside school...theres also construction going on at nanyang

And it's only 2 week of school. Can't imagine as the toilet gets more utilized. Find this quite unacceptable.

Yes, some child not feeling well, vomited onto the toilet floor, not into the toilet bowl

The school cleaners needs to be more vigilant in cleaning the toilets.

              very dangerous !

P1 girls are short. Driver inside long school bus cannot see them crossing behind the school bus (blind spot)

Parents, pls tell your kids, never cross behind school bus, because driver can't see

It is a concern when the big bus nearly hit 2 or 3 of the girls.

how do you all feel about the new premises, after the 2 years’ renovation done (year 2014 + 2015) ?

                  (apart from toilet)

The bus crossing issue is shocking! Is someone alerting the school about this? Who should we contact - VP admin?

My P1 tells me as of this week (week3), bus uncle said he will not "fetch" them, instead she will need to find and go up the bus herself after dismissal. I’m assuming past 2 weeks Bus Uncle has been fetching and orientating the girls to the process of finding and boarding the bus? How do the girls board the bus at dismissal? Does anyone know the actual process? TIA

About the toilets, agree the condition is atrocious. I was there for the P1 recess on first day (05th Jan) and the toilets at the back of the canteen were filthy, causing a long queue. There are 3 cubicles, leftmost is a squatting one which many girls gave a miss. The rightmost has faeces in it with flush not working. Only the middle was functional hence the queue. Many girls had to leave the queue because time for recess was up and they didn’t even get to go to the toilet!
Even till today (almost Week 3), my DD is still telling me most of the toilets are dirty.

Sorry to say but I feel these matters should be alerted to the teachers or principal…the admin doesnt help. I had a bad experience with the admin office once. My girl was sick and callled me to fetch her… fortunately she had her mobile. I called her 5 mins before I reached school and she told me she is at the sick bay in general office ( last year on old school). When I reach g.o. the staff told me they don have anyone at the sick bay. I was shock and they asked me to go to her class or canteen to find her as it was recess time. After I walked out, I felt something not right so I called my girl. She told me she is still at the sick bay waiting for me. Instantly, I walked to the office again and the 2 admin staff who attended to me were busy chit chatting and ignored me. I walked in to the sick bay and and called my girl and tatah …she walked out. I reprimanded the 2 staff for being oblivious to their surrounding and being aware when a sick student walked in. Another more senior staff heard and quickly walked over and ask if my girl was feeling better… I was disappointed and told the form teacher there after. This is the standard of vigilance , if any that we get and being girls, I also get more worried about there whereabouts and safety. Guess every school has there own way of managing but through the pass 2 years in this school and after hearing different stories from other mummies… the best way is to train your girl to be more alert and careful on her own.

Haha...so i am not the only one that got such treatment from the admin staffs..Yes, they love to talk and see us parent transparent. I was polite enough for them to finish the conversation, but they do not have any sense that someone is there waiting to ask some questions.

Bus issue is an definite thing that must be brought up to School Management. They cant pay my daughter back, if anything happen to her. I seriously did not think the situation is so bad until i read all the comments.
