I expect the choice needs to be made on reporting day or soon after as the JC needs to allocate students to classes. Anyway, for JC1's, they should keep their ears open and manage these things for themselves.VitoRelax:

Reporting day should be exciting in JC. There should be an orientation program for all newcomers that lasts for about a week. The pupils will familiarised themselves with the JC's environment and get to know pupils from their OG. They should also be exposed to the various subject intros from lecturers and the various CCA available. By the end of the orientation, they will then be asked to select their subject combination and CCA. -
So orientation week shld be Feb 1 - 5 n then break off for CNY Feb 8 - 9 n proper lessons start on Feb 10?

Wow zbear, posting result will be out soon? And you are also waiting for dd A level result? All at one go, your heart must be very strong
What subjects will your ds take? -
Posting results are supposed to be out on 28 Jan. JAE students will report to JC the day after. My daughter is waiting eagerly for the JAE students to come in so they can really get started with orientation, class assgnments etc. And she is hoping that one of her cousins, from another school, will get into the same JC.

Yalor, I really need a strong heart. One worry after another.
Do u think A level results will be released on Mar 4 which happens to be on a Friday? I have a feeling it would.
But never mind, enjoy CNY first!!!!
