Bought some Korean instant noodles recently from Korea. Found the texture of the noodles not bad. Does anyone have any idea where we could buy brands such as Shin in Singapore?

          Busymom,

Recently i bought Shin from NTUC, not sure if its the same one you bought or not, but i check and its make in korea.

The other place you can try your luck is at this korean supermarket at Keypoint - this is on Beach Road, opposite Golden Mile. They have quite good range of Korean Instant Noodles.

What i missed from korea, its the fresh Kimchi! I brought back 5kg :!: of it from Lotte Supermart in Seoul. heheheee... gave away 2kg and i took 3kg myself...

NTUC? Really? Will go and check it out. By the way, they are MSG-free, right?

I can't take spicy food very well, but like the Korean instant noodles for their texture.

Not so into kimchi... plus someone once told me that in Korea, they put back the leftover kimchi (that had been served) into the container... :!:

Thanks for the info on Keypoint!

Is it possible, Busymom and Tree Nymph, that Shin is MSG free? If so, please let me know. šŸ™

From what I know, I don't think so. I remember Nongshim (the biggest noddle maker in Korea) doing a promo for \"healthy instant noodles\". They're not fried, with no MSG. Came in several favours like beef, chicken and pork. The beef was the best  ! I haven't found it here though šŸ˜ž
