Maybe you should apply to all uni and at the same time re sit the exam. Just to play safe.

If I apply to my JC and they accept me to retake as JC student will I be able to drop out from JC if one Uni accept me after that ? Because I'm planning to apply all university

        Why not?
How about the army thing ? Coz If I defer to retake as JC student and after that got accepted by one of the Uni and drop out from JC. Does that mean I'll join other batch of BMT? Coz JC batch BMT ends at April

The question is given your result you qualify for local u and hence the JC may not take u back to redo A levels. So u can’t disrupt ns.

Retake means doing it as private candidate.

U shop go talk to your JC principal asap
I've browsed the UniSim website and found something interesting but i am still pretty unsure about it. The tuition fees of UniSim is not by year but is by degree programme. The \"all basic degree'' is roughly $33876 SGD per degree programme, thats like $11292 SGD a year(if take a 3 years programme) , which is similar to the annual fees of SMU. But here comes my doubt, if one spent 3 years in local uni such as NTU and SUTD all those, how many degree will the student get?
If its also 1 degree, then i think ill give UniSim a shot cause what i worried about study private u is the cost. QAQ

The undergraduates in the local uni usually get ONE degree unless they are admitted into a double degrees program which usually takes 4 years or more.

Thanks! I will apply for it tomorrow and hopefully one of the uni will accept me T.T
Sorry if I seem to pour cold water on you. I went to unisim open house and they told me at least Cs in your H2 to be considered. My suggestion is for you to retake your A as a private candidate. Whatever, don't give up hope. There are still many paths to success, not necessary only through going to local uni.

I heard SIM have two different university, is it both I can’t enter?

And for private candidate I really don’t think I am able to absorb under such condition cause army like don’t have much time to study and after training must be tired T.T

I just received my A level result and it is rather bad,i only got 58.5. I know i cantget into NUS, NTU and SMU, but is there a chance for me to enter SUTD and SIT?

Take a look at the link below...

                http://digitalsenior.sg/alternative-pat ... graduates/

It suggested other alternatives paths to doing a degree program....not limiting to only the Big 3 Unis...

Yes, SIM has UniSIM which the full time undergrad programme is funded by gov. The other is SIM global education which has tied up with oversea uni such as UOL, RMIT, etc. For SIMGE, yes, quite likely u can apply for one of the courses as long as you have 2 or 3 H2. If u don't wish to retake A, you can consider SIMGE. But u can only apply only on the year u ORD, u can't apply now. They don't reserve places.

I forgot to mention that unisim also has many part time degree courses too. Once u ORD, u are considered as having fulfil 2 yr work experience, so can apply. U can work and study part time. So as I say, there are still many alternatives. Don't lose hope.

Oh, so there is a work requirement for the part-time courses? I didn't realise that. So someone who just completed A levels without work experience can't apply?

Still can apply but must be in full employment at time of application. Do check their website for detailed requirement if interested. All the best.
