Basically, a Panamian law firm Mossack Fonseca helped to set up shell companies for many global leaders and financial elite to evade taxes.
There was a massive 2.6 terabyte leak of its confidential papers to the (ICIJ) International Consortium of Investigative Journalists...
The law firm's operations specialises in helping foreigners set up Panamanian shell companies to hold financial assets while obscuring the identities of their real owners. -
