The most interesting part is XJP's \"relatives\", in the current atmosphere of him driving a hard crack down on corruption.

        Any names sound familiar ?

        It isn't surprising either.
Can explain what's all about. Saw the headlines in this evening Chinese newspapers. Jackie Chan's name big big there. TIA

Phoenix TV, CCTV, Xinhua, People's Daily, Wenhui all gagged. Phoenix only mentioned Putin šŸ˜›

              ST headlines today.

Basically, a Panamian law firm Mossack Fonseca helped to set up shell companies for many global leaders and financial elite to evade taxes.

There was a massive 2.6 terabyte leak of its confidential papers to the (ICIJ) International Consortium of Investigative Journalists...

The law firm's operations specialises in helping foreigners set up Panamanian shell companies to hold financial assets while obscuring the identities of their real owners.

My tv screen went blank whenever such news are mentioned as well as the mention of causeway bay publishers

But these are mostly not illegal. It only embarrasses those who try to hide from their spouses or from their electorate

First immediate casually is Iceland pm, facing no confidence vote today

Yup, many a times a person or a well-known company or institution wants to buy things or own assets in a way that obscures who the real buyer is. Actually, t's routine corporate secrecy. Say they are still in R&D stage, and don't want to make public the news, they'd do it through the shell company until they are ready to launch the product.

In fact, one staff of that Panamian law firm told the ICIJ that 95% of their job was the help them buy/sell cars to evade local taxes.

Thought only black out in mainland cable tv. HK, which prides itself for press freedom, can't escape from the censors now?
