            buds, sorry for this, but I read through all 10 pages of this thread, but don't seem to understand what is required to take part in the contest! :oops: :oops:

            My questions :

            Must we post a recipe in order to enter the contest? or

            Can we cook a pasta dish based on one of the recipes posted here, post a picture of what we cooked (or modified) and qualify to take part in the contest?

            Boy, I am confused! :oops:

                can we have multiple entries please as more recipes are going to come in, and if we like them better than the one we picked before, we can’t go back on our vote, so can we? Thanks.

                    Muffins:

                    All I know from my pasta cooking days, is that you can add honey instead of ketchup for a sweet, and still tasty taste..... Hope that helps! πŸ™‚
                    thks for the suggestion, muffins..but I was looking more for the bolognese sauce made with fresh tomatoes..not ketchup or tinned ones. healthier mah.

                      You could make the pasta from fresh tomato using slow cooker, but it could take the whole day (you could start cooking in the evening and see the result in the morning). Remember, this is not easy as tomato contains lots of water πŸ˜„

                      While ketchup is not 100% tomatoes, most of the part is made from papaya :?

                        Got this from http://www.theworldwidegourmet.com/recipes/bolognese-sauce-with-fresh-tomatoes/.Had it saved on my desktop.

                        Ingredients
                        Ingredients
                        - Fresh Tomatoes
                        - Olive Oil
                        - Salt and pepper
                        - Basil, thyme
                        - A splash of sherry vinegar
                        - A few drops of balsamic vinegar

                        How to make it

                        1.Blanch the tomatoes for a few seconds in boiling water;
                        2.immediately place them into a bowl of ice water; peel, quarter and seed; chop finely;
                        3.season with a little olive oil, salt and pepper;
                        4.add herbs and a few drops of vinegar as desired.

                        Hope that helps! πŸ™‚
