Growing Up Gifted

Hi. I called up and was informed that the trial class costs $50 and is not deductable from term fees if I decide to enrol my kid. The term started on june 25 ( term 4 ) for 8 to 18 months weekend classes. Next term starts in August.

I haven’t booked a trial yet. I didn’t realise it would be difficult to get a trial date and was hoping to call on the weekend.
I will post a message on this forum if I am successfull with booking for the trial.

is GUG enrichment class (to learn extra other than sch)?

It’s always a good idea to expose your girl to more things, socialise and make more friends. For 19mths baby, you’ll probably be in their "Gifted Babes" class (from 8mths - 18mths) and when she’s more ready, to move her to "Gifted Tots" (18mths onwards). However, you may choose to put her directly into "Gifted Tots" class. You may want to check with the admin staff if your girl is suitable for a particular class, eg. are there more babies closer to her age range.

Erm, for your qn on "enrichment class", well, for 19-mth old child, I would think that all the classes she attends are enrichment classes? Btw, both Gifted Babes and Gifted Tots are parent-accompanied class. You’ll get to go through everything taught in class.

Enrolled my kid there since beginning of Apr and so far very pleased with the school.
Tampines branch is still new so not many kids at the moment.
Their hp portal is very helpful and informative. Teachers update daily for food eaten by the kid for 3 meals there, potty activities and nap time duration. Principal updates weekly learning plan and food menu. Parents can also communicate with teachers directly through the app.
I like that parents are well informed about kid's school life and can tell my kid enjoys going school everyday.
They also have referral program of $200 rebate. If you are interested in enrolling your kid there, can PM me for details.

Hi tamtam, yes i am referring to the branch in Tampines. Nice to hear. Which level is your friend’s kid?

I have been there too, in one of the open house recently. Love the their items and presentation especially the teachers’ energy!
They may look shy to parents at first, but after speaking to them, they are warm and real and most importantly they are good with kids.

Hi, thanks for sharing. Hard to find schools or teachers who are so involved in communications. So assuring to hear.
I thought i can count my blessings only if i dont no receive bad news or calls from my boy’s school. :congrats:

Is the school very new? did they open in Feb? I cant really verify the number of children yet. Think must drop by one day
