All About Primary Schools' Balloting History

I agree with the previous poster. Fairfield is a popular school. Many SCs couldn't even secure a place there, so it's safe to say that you have no chance. You could monitor the registration process, but I suggest that you get a 2nd and 3rd schools of choice ready. The safest is New Town, but you might still get a chance to secure s place in Queenstown.Hi,
Could any one able to give view of getting P1 admission in Fairfeild primary - 2017 under 2B? registeration start this summer.
No. of seats in the school will be more? and any idea about no. of applicant would be in phase 2A?
My child born in 2010 (birth rate 37174), we are SPR and methodist church member. staying near C'wealth mrt.

This year’s P1 registration dates have been announced on the websites. I would like to know if the Phase 2C registration is from July 27 to July 29 and the websites state that the results will be announced by Wed Aug 3, when will balloting be conducted? (For the schools that have balloting).
I can’t apply for last min leave from work, so if anyone has any idea when balloting may be done, I will be grateful. Don’t want to apply for wrong dates and have problems attending balloting if necessary. Thanks in advance. -

I remembered it as a few days before. Anyway, even if you are not there, your chances aren't affected. I didn't attend the balloting coz my kids were at home. -

If you want to attend, please do not bring your kid as it will be traumatizing for him/her if you fail to secure a place. -

Hello everyone, I have a burning question and would very much appreciate if someone can help to answer. My son is enrolling for P1 under Phase 2C on 27 July 2016. We will move into our new house on 22 July 2016. Can I use the my new house address for registering my son's primary school or do I have to use the address as at 30 June 2016*, which is the date of the commencement of the P1 Registration Exercise. Thanks.
* Per MOE website, a child who gains priority admission into a primary school through his/her distance category is required to reside at the address used for registration for at least 30 months from the commencement of the P1 Registration Exercise on 30 June 2016.
