Ans 1. In addition to cheese and coffee, we also need sugar and eggs to make the tiramisu.

Ans 2.

In addition = also (same meaning, therefore redundant to repeat in 1 sentence).

And no need \"the\" in front of \"tiramisu\".

My take on this...

Qtn 1 - (3)

Qtn 2 - (3)
hung is used when hanging something eg. clothes, painting
hanged is used when it for capital punishment or suicide

Hi I would like to ask a question…for some words ending with "se" vs "ze"…will either version be acceptable during PSLE?


Eg

analyse vs analyze
paralyse vs paralyze
emphasise vs emphasize
criticise vs criticize
organise vs organize

"se" tend to be British spelling whereas "ze" tends to be America spelling, however, I noticed
DS also tend to use "ze" some of the words.

Does it matter in PSLE?

I suggest, err on the side of caution, and use the ‘se’ form as a rule.

Yes, use ‘se’ because Singapore education uses British English.

Is the above acceptable?
Answer sheet stated:
Regardless of how tired I might be, I will complete my homework.

Must we put a comma after however?

Yes, ‘regardless of’ is a preposition and so should be followed by a noun, noun phrase or a noun clause.

‘my tiredness’ is a noun phrase.

‘how tired I might be’ is a noun clause.
