hmm not sure if the sch screen to allocate pupils with PSLE results. but as far as I know fr my dd n some parents, some pupils with similar PSLE score are in various classes. Pupils with tablet are quite sure apart fr those don't use tablet. probably the teacher may not want to disclose to parents to avoid comparison.

For the absolute best scores, which are 265+, they are in one class. The rest normal scores like 255+ are distributed equally. All 249+s are in same class though.
As for Tablet, 1/11 is the best class, then 1/10.
Basically NH lets you take anything you want. I got a junior who failed her overall and yet took 9 subjects.

I just went for my school’s speech day.

The new principal sucked. Her english and Chinese were horrible. And I thought Dr Foo’s was bad. Well compared to her he’s practically an elite.
The prizes sucked. So 7A1s is less important than getting A1 in English and Normal Chinese only? Why did I get a measly $40 while they got $150 for 2 subjects? And somemore they get cash.
NH should raise the bilingual standard to A1 in English and HIGHER CHINESE, or increase prize money for 6A1s.
The food… was eradicated by non-prize recipients. Seriously, NH should do something about not letting the crashers eat. Hey, why should they deserve to eat? They don’t HAVE to come watch us get prizes. In the end I didn’t get to eat

Haha i hadn’t meant to complain so much.

Well I think speech day was quite boring. We got there at 3 and had to endure boredom until 4.30. We didn’t even rehearse, resulting in us bowing at the wrong time not in synchronization. Plus we had nothing to do the whole time.
I seriously dislike the new principal. She wasn’t very friendly. She practically ignored us when we went to the GO to collect our o level certs.
I think they should cater more food too, haha.

One seems rather difficult to please. :roll: Thousand and one complaints about every little thing in life and I wonder which Principal can be good enough to be classified as the ideal Principal in one's eyes? :roll:

And if I remember correctly, there are also certain issues with HCI where you are now that you consider as 'stupid' (can't be bothered to waste my time to go and look for the quote). That speaks a lot about the person, not the Ps of the various schools involved. :roll:

Compared to other school's speech day, you want me to say NH's one is the best?
A good principal might be Dr Hon, I think. Although I don't know him for long, a good principal must be friendly, able to mash with the students, approachable and 从善如流。The current NH one is not friendly okay. IMHO she is not as good as say Dr Foo. Dr Foo is not the \"best\" principal ever because sometimes he intimidates us when he uses 成语, but he IS friendly.
What issues do I have with HCI? Go look and find evidence. I most certainly have not said anything (besides shallow things about canteen food, school uniform etc, which are mostly just normal complaints that I moan only once in a while with my HCI mates).
If you want to attack me, bring forth your evidence and ADDRESS me personally.
