I am starting (or rather started) to feel the pressure bearing down on us parents…especially now the mid-year exam SA1 had started…

The pressure I feel is not so much the mid year SA but the PSLE. Because after the last paper next week and 3 days of fun, it's going to be the start of intensive revision from scratch.

pressure come from both SA1, plus coming PSLE, both

pressure seep in from SA1 :
because when your child attempt DSA : Secondary schools going to look at their Report card P4 & P5 (SA1/SA2), plus also their P6 SA1 results

hence, still need to do well, for P6 SA1

each year, after Labor day holiday that week, the heat is on
              P5/P6 (parents & students) tackling SA1 : stressed

P6 stressed : because need to do well in SA1, plus coming PSLE
P5 stressed : because soon, will be their turn to face PSLE

i don’t know what to expect from SA1 when there was literally no chance for me to plan any form of revision with her.

Now, I am able to understand and actually feel what Parents of P6 children are going through. Previously I could only imagine. But now, the SA1, Revision, Prelims and ultimately PSLE...the pressure, the stress....building up...

My DD is not looking at DSA, so we are lucky that we are not facing the pressure to do exceptionally well for this SA1. Only 1 paper down, many more exam days still. Can't wait, yet dread, to see the results.. This will be a gauge to see how much more needs to be done before the big finale 😓 I hope it will wake DD up :snooze: to the fact that time is running out.

that kind of pressure building up makes the shoulders very heavy and breathless.
