Hi,

I sent my son for a trial, it seems quite good, but honestly i don't know how this will compare to other courses, as I don't think there is an apple to apple comparison

The course uses \"play base\" curriculum to invoke emotions in children, the teacher will observe the behaviour and assess the child, i.e listening, leadership, focus etc. skills and will try to teach the child the correct way to think and behave. I think this program is develop jointly by professors from Harvard/MIT and not sure where else...

After the trial, the teacher had a one-on-one meeting with me and wife, he gave a rather accurate assessment on my son and provided some parenting insights which I found quite good. Talk about customised parenting advice! I totally did not expect this! (Pardon me if you find me ignorant a.k.a Swaku)

Overall, my son enjoyed the trial, he told me he liked the games that he played during the session. I have a good mind to sign up already.

Anyone know anything more or anything better please tell me.

My boy has been attending people Impact since June 2014. Considering his age at 10 plus, it quite late to join this programme.

As what sillyme’s mentioned, the programme is hand on and a 2.5 hours assessment really surprise me. It is so accurate.

Soon, I have joined the programme and amazing, my boy has benefit from it. He is able to express himself better, academically can focus better and most importantly, he really enjoying the programme.

I finally went for a trial yday. Assessment was quite accurate.
I sign up for 6 mths due to savings and also thought this program definitely needs time to see result. I guess 6 mths is a good gauge. Will post again then.

My son’s teacher is Teacher Lina and 1 trainer in individual classroom.

The assessment is free and there is different level for programme. Can I disclosed the fee here?
