Thanks lovinglife for the tips..while reading it I could sense the steadiness at your side. Nearer to exam for dd, I remember reading Sci to her inside the car while dh is driving :stompfeet: I was feeling so frustrated when dd just suddenly become so allergic to her books and I told her to just absorb as much as she could. I hope I wont see anymore of this :faint:
You are welcome. I was not steady lah. In fact, I was very manzhang this round 😓

Both languages’ scores made known although I have not seen the papers. Paper 1 was the main culprit that pulled the overall down by 3-5%. Not much difference in paper 2.

My dd did well for English overall in all components but yesterday when I asked her casually what is plural of wife, she answered wifes :yikes: She forgot what she learnt in p2!! I think I have to test and revise grammar rules with her this holiday.

share what did u do to revise? any good books? grammar revision by memorizing ? or exercise? vocab by spelling? or doing sentences? wonder what DD has been learning in P1/P2..

What would be considered a good score for P3 compo and zuowen? I don’t want to over-react by signing on additional classes, but also worried that if no action taken, the road ahead will become even more slippery…

So many components to take care of for both languages, did not do well for both languages, huge drop. Did not do well for English oral too suddenly, not sure how to help in this, anyone can share?? Maths and science still ok. Sighs.

For me, 17/20 and above is consider good grades. 我的要求并不高啦 😂

Thanks for your inputs on how to revise for Chinese.

That vocab book is really useful, I will make sure ds memorise them during Jun holiday. Though he passed his SA1, the results are rather disappointing.
