It's better if you can hang around in the school to get latest update from the staff.
You have to monitor closely. The last day of Phase 2A or 2B or 2C can see last min parents registering at the last moment! Be prepared for that if you are more than 1km. You can call up the schools to enquire the number who registered too but it is up to the schools' office staff to entertain your call or not.ptb7476:
wah notice those elite school has 300 seats whilst others 240 seats
and phase 2c are like sitting ducks only 40 seats .. so on that date of registeration can take leave and stand by and watch moe website like stocks lolz
Your best bet will be within 1km of course, if it's a popular school and you can take the risk of going to balloting stage. -

No chance because you will fall under 1-2 km even though the address is within 1 km.
no chance to even face balloting.Essential:
Thank you both janet88 and jpg_22 for sharing.
Her mother house to school is within 1km. History of balloting - every year within 1 km
So she declared caregiver using her mum address . I believe no chance right? -
Hi, may I know if any one has heard of parents using their child’s SG passport (instead of Singapore Citizenship Certificate) to register for P1? Is it allowed? Thanks.

I don't think it's allowed, but you could check with MOE just to be sure. -
Thanks Galaxyraider!

right away and ask. If they say yes, then you will want to print out
the reply and bring it along during P1 registration.
Once you have the answer from MOE, please post it in this thread

Hi
Just like to check if any parent who is under church affiliated registering under phase 2b ?
My church has sent in the endorsed form to the school in june but I have yet to receive any confirmation from the school. Will we receive any confirmation letter from the school?
Thanks in advance. -
Just curious: does the 2nd language taken by your child affect their chances of getting in? We’re Singaporean and have done our parent volunteer duty so qualify for Phase 2B.
My kid will be taking her second language outside our chosen school’s hours as it’s not Mandarin, Malay nor Tamil
In this case, will priority be given to kids taking Mandarin, Malay or Tamil in our phase to make up the numbers for the 2nd language classes offered in school?
Just wondering. Any reply is welcome. Thanks.
