      What The:

Any idea when is PSLE results announced this year?

MOE website states 25 November. I am wondering if it is accurate.

25 Nov published on the MOE website is for year 2015. The date for 2016 is yet to be announced.

What if we are not in town to receive the PSLE results? Can we go back to the school after we are back to receive the results?

psle results are usually released in the last week of nov…really hope daughter will do well enough to go back to her affiliated secondary school…her birthday is also in end nov, so that will be the best birthday present this year.

As long as one tries his or her best, that suffices...

Janet - sincerely hope your DD makes it to her school of choice. All the best to your girl and all the 2004 kiddos!

Just had a peek at the DSA thread - feel for all the DSA mummies and daddies out there anxiously awaiting the shortlists. And then after the shortlists, another round of anxiously awaiting the results. All the best to you guys too - remember, just becos your DC does not get in via DSA doesn’t mean he or she is not worthy of that school. Sadly, DSA (as it currently stands) is mostly about whom the school thinks is most likely to win the most accolades for them. So, put it behind you and move right on. We’ve got important things like PSLE to worry about!

BESTEST OF LUCK! May all the DCs dreams come true!

                    Hi

Is there any means to get any materials online to practice listening comprehension.
My Daughter start to loose many marks in this. I think this should be easy to score
Appreciate ur inputs . Need for both english and Mother tongue(Tamil)

Can anyone kindly advise what is the weightage for each subject to determine the T-score? Do EL and MT have higher weightage than Math and Science? And for those who are exempted from MT, how is it calculated?

regarding calculation of scores for those exempted from MT, only MOE would know how to compute. the principal said that during daughter's p6 briefing.

prelim dates just released...starting with prelim oral end of this month.
