Does anyone have any idea if grassroots volunteers from both GRC would be accepted if there's been a redrawing of electoral boundaries? Looking at Phase 2B for SCGS and wondering if there will be double competition from two GRCs this year cos of the electoral changes....
this year's balloting,
Phase 2B, GRL will follow the pre-2016 election boundaries.
from what i have read, from PA's email.
therefore, no overlap. -
Hi KSparents, I’m very new to this forum. Have a dragon girl due to register for P1 in 2018. Can I still make it to join Grassroots?

After you become an observer you need 6 months to be confirmed, then the 2 years' service \"requirement\" starts from the time you are \"confirmed\" i.e. no longer an observer. -

Hi,
Would like to check for those volunteered for this year enrollment, that you should receive the PA letter now for grassroots letter or rejection letter? -
Hi everyone, I need your expertise please. I am asking on behalf of a family member and we are pretty desperate now!
1) sister in law moved into new GRC in sept 2014
2) tried to apply as PV in primary school but was rejected
3) joined grassroots/PA group as observer in Jan 2015
4) appointed as assistant secretary in May 2015
5) July 2016 - received news that MOE rejected her appeal/request to be placed in phase 2B as she didn’t fulfill the 2 years tenure as a grassroots leader despite putting in extra effort for all grassroots activities
May I know what are her next best options? We are trying to appeal to MP now but the deadline is drawing near. Will MOE accept any of such appeals?
She is staying within 1KM to the preferred school.
Will appreciate if anyone can offer some tips!
Thank you! -

I believe she doesn't have any other option other than going for Phase 2C, which might require balloting.Hi everyone, I need your expertise please. I am asking on behalf of a family member and we are pretty desperate now!

Her best option is to enrol into the preferred school at Phase 2C. She will definitely have a chance at the ballot given that the distance is <1km. -
