I would like to know as well. However, i think is the location of OLQP and most of them choose west spring, bukit panjang as well as greenridge.

Are you going to reg still? Phrase 2c?

I'm trying for SCGS under 2B first. Will try for OLQP under 2C if I cannot get a place at SCGS cos we prefer a girls' school. I'm hoping the poorer take up compared to the rest of the other schools is not cos of any negative developments at OLQP cos it was rather popular in past years...

Does anyone have any idea if grassroots volunteers from both GRC would be accepted if there's been a redrawing of electoral boundaries? Looking at Phase 2B for SCGS and wondering if there will be double competition from two GRCs this year cos of the electoral changes....

this year's balloting,
Phase 2B, GRL will follow the pre-2016 election boundaries.

I'm an old girl of Fairfield so thinking of registering under 2A2.
My husband volunteered at SCGS primary so if no need to ballot (we live outside 2km) under 2B, we are thinking of withdrawing from Fairfield to apply at SCGS. But it'll be quite a risk still if at the last minute the number of applications surge for SCGS....

The school is very selective for PV but no idea what the grassroots volunteer numbers are. Any advice?

since you mention that your husband is curently a PV inside SCGS primary, while performing his PV duties, he can just pop by General office, ask the admin staff the question that you keen to know.

as a PV, he is considered part of SCGS family already (it is only a matter of time to register your kid), makes it easy to get info from GO.

as a \"single-digit\" PV, selected out of so many applicants, the school will try their best, to help your daughter get in.

You have a point! Can leverage on our contacts at the school. Looks like it'll be a nerve-wrecking 4 hours on day 2 of 2B registration monitoring numbers and making the call so we don't take any unnecessary risks....

At first we thought we will be saved by the electoral boundary changes but heard that they allow those who volunteered before the change to qualify under 2B as a transition so now competition from two GRCs’ grassroots volunteers!!
