what is the answer

21 and 12 (revserse ) is 9 more ..
23 and 32 ( revserse) also 9 more
eh.. i thought the answer is 23? The rest is simply not possible?

a 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29
b 12 22 32 42 52 62 72 82 92

Take 9 away from all the numbers on row b and the only number that is still within 20 -30 range is 23.

Correct?

The 2 digit number is between 20 to 30. So 23 is the answer.

wow, this is a tough comprehension passage!

Yes, tough because now also require P1 to have inference comprehension skill

Eg : like above gvyong qn -
if need to take 1 hour to travel from home to school, reach school at 7 am, then kid cannot possibly wake up at 6 am. Must wake up earlier than 6 am to brush teeth, eat breakfast, walk to bus stop, wait for bus, etc

erm actually, if there is no need to read into all the timing. because the question at the end of the story is asking what is angie's role?

So it is enough for the child to know that - Angie needs to go to school. Angie was in primary one two years ago. so now she is in primary three.

If after reading the passage the child is able to understand the above, the rest of the passage - time lah where the school is lah can ignore... correct?

My kid now in k2 registering p1 this year, now can do simple addition and struggle with substraction. Don’t think "digit" is in his vocabulary. Can anyone recommend a primary school that is suitable for him?

Holy Innocent Primary (HIPS) Vs Chij OLN (girls)
(both under Phase 2B)

Have a #02 (Boy) to follow 3 yrs later.

HIPS (within 2km) is moving out for 2 years to AMK holding school - Sap School.
IJ OLN is within 1 km

Cant decide!!

1) if register your girl in HIPS which is co-Ed, then you won't have headache with younger one...phase 1.
2) CHIJ OLN has affiliation, if you wish to enjoy that.
3) even if school moves to holding school somewhere else, the original address of the school will still be used when registering for p1.

There is a bunch of info within the passage to digest...btw, these are just p1 kids. Just like doing word problem sum.
