Seems very few schools balloting for SG less than 1km for phrase 2B. will it be like this for phrase 2C?

that's my worry... for phase 2c -
Difficult to predict phase 2C based on 2B results. Only 3 schools with balloting less than 1 km. Many schools which traditionally ballot have escaped balloting this year with spare places which will go to Phase 2C numbers. This is most likely the effect of the lower birth rate this year.
Although a number of very popular schools are over subscribed as usual. For Phase 2C, it will all depend on how many parents with kids in 2010 are within 1 km. Not all parents can move within 1 km of their school of choice. The vast majority of parents will apply at this phase because we don’t have any other choice.
Lets hope many school escape ballot this year.

Hihi, thought u going for compassvale? Some of us are still deciding.. Haha! Is Nan Chiau still risky? Seems better than last few years?these are my finding for punggol/ sengkang/ hougang

Nan chiau is out so dun bother .. when i called moe prior to the start of regisration i was given me advice dun try MT but can try Holy with the take up rate is much higher for Holy ?? now i am in dilemna shld i go try MT -

i am thinking MT / compassvale / holy / vista .. so i will wait and see the result on 2nd last day before deciding to go which school on friday :rotflmao: -
I’m curious - do people call the school to check the possibility of spots in P2C? I know that it’s hard for anyone to make an assessment now but they may have a prediction. I just wonder if the schools will entertain calls from eager parents.
