Nan chiau is out so dun bother .. when i called moe prior to the start of regisration i was given me advice dun try MT but can try Holy with the take up rate is much higher for Holy ?? now i am in dilemna shld i go try MT

I’m curious - do people call the school to check the possibility of spots in P2C? I know that it’s hard for anyone to make an assessment now but they may have a prediction. I just wonder if the schools will entertain calls from eager parents.

Schools will not entertain such calls. It is anybody's guess at this point in time for P2C. So, please do not call the schools. The admin staff need to process applications for earlier phases, too. You don't need to call the school. You will know the numbers from the numbers applied. If the school is going for ballot, then the number is the same as that for phase 2B. otherwise, take the total number of places available and minus all those who have applied up to phase 2B and the Phase 2B applicants. The numbers of places taken up are listed here https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/prima ... /vacancies.

Look at kiasu parents P1 balloting history. Most years ballot in 2C is only for between 1-2km. Will this year follow the previous trend? No one will know for sure. Best to go ahead and apply. And call the school on the last day of applications to check how many applied within 1 km to give yourself a rough guide of your chances of success. My prediction is that it will not go for ballot within 1 to 2 km like last year.
