Can someone let me know predictions on St Andrew’s jnr? Sporeans in 2C >2km sure no chance right?

I'm curious - do people call the school to check the possibility of spots in P2C? I know that it's hard for anyone to make an assessment now but they may have a prediction. I just wonder if the schools will entertain calls from eager parents.

You don't need to call the school. You will know the numbers from the numbers applied. If the school is going for ballot, then the number is the same as that for phase 2B. otherwise, take the total number of places available and minus all those who have applied up to phase 2B and the Phase 2B applicants. Look at kiasu parents P1 balloting history. Most years ballot in 2C is only for between 1-2km. Will this year follow the previous trend? No one will know for sure. Best to go ahead and apply. And call the school on the last day of applications to check how many applied within 1 km to give yourself a rough guide of your chances of success. My prediction is that it will not go for ballot within 1 to 2 km like last year.

Nobody dares to answer you because \"sure\" is a very strong word. Historically there's balloting for SC 1-2km. But this year generally less demand island-wide. Generally only. U will only know your true chances by calling up the school on Day 2 afternoon or Day 3 morning.

There was one year SJI Jr had balloting for >2km in phase 2C. Looking at the numbers, the balance left for SJI Jr is similar to previous years. Possibly ballot at 1-2km. This year is really different.
