They have already gotten their oral results. I didn't ask what the topics were. Results not perfect... Esp CL2 :frustrated: But I am/want to close both eyes :imcool:

you are cool.
done and over...next should be LC?
Yes. LC and the rest will come one after another 😓 in about 10days..I lost track
I am not cool :scared: ... I am just trying to ' see open '
My DD is not even preparing for her exams :faint:
Actually too much preparation now also can spell problems - get burnt out for actual PSLE.

It's a perpetual headache- how much is enough and what is too much, how to pace them correctly such that the best result comes at the right time and not before.

My own experience as a kanchiong kid - PSLE, O Level and A levels- I did better in my pre-lims for all 3 :faint:

nicnac, don’t despair…your DD might feel your despair too.

Maybe give your DD some happy moments to look forward to every week…something unrelated to gaming or social media. And let her gets lots of sleep - at least 9 hours a day. IMHO Burn out is usually caused by a mixture of stress, repetitive work and physical exhaustion. So I think lots of positive strokes, reassurance, rest and fun moments may help.

I don’t plan to push her for prelims…have to save her energy for PSLE.

which is why I didn’t arrange for tutor to come for extra lessons until nearer her psle written papers in sep.

my dd has oral on coming week. haven't prepared yet..scared**
There are some P6 Chinese Oral practices on MC Online. The 2013-2015 PSLE Chinese booklet also has some exercises on oral too. Do check out these resources.

Hi parents,

We are a group of JC students doing our H1 Project Work on reading habits of primary school children. We would really appreciate it if you would spend 5 minutes of your time to complete this survey for us. http://tinyurl.com/pwreading2016

What happened Janet...hope DD isn't unwell? My DS2 just recovered. A number of kids in both my DS classes are down.

Please ask your DC to be careful with handwashing (use soap!) and drink lots of water and eat lots of fruit and veg.

Spartanmum, DS too was sick over the weekend, right before prelim oral. He has passed it on to me now 😓
The weather is no good. Like you said take more fluids and maintain hygiene . :xedfingers:
